First Exhibition

Acikcasi yazip yazmamakta tereddut ettim, reklam kokan hareketler gibi geliyor bu tur seyler bana ama ilk sergim; bu kadarcik olsun. 20-25 Kasim tarihlerinde Istanbul'da iseniz ve Cihangir Salon Cafe'ye ugrarsaniz eger, 11 adet fotografimin buyuk baskilarini gormenizi isterim zira benim gorme sansim yok, gelemiyorum. Sergi ile detaylara suradan ulasabilirsiniz;

Some of my works will be exhibited in a nice place between 20-25 Nov in Istanbul. Altough I'm not so comfortable of making announcements like that - this event will be something nice, cosy and definitely fun-so better than keeping it secret. If one of you will be in Istanbul around these days, I suggest you to have a look. hope you'll enjoy.

Dragomir's Dacha

Here we go. These images are from 2006 I guess. We were invited to one of our friend's - Dragomir - summer cottage - which is called "Dacha" in Russian. Somehow 90% of the shots are lost - probably they are in my old hard disk, so these are the survivors.

I can't call back their name, I saw all these people more than 2 years ago.

Her husband Kolya. a plastic surgeon. He told me he came to Moscow from Samara and he likes there more than the capital city. I'm not surprised...

Dragomir's parents. They came to Moscow from Belgrade for the first time. Although Slavic languages are similar- they don't understand any Russian. They showed great kindness to me when they learned I am a Turkish. Lovely people.

House was just bought so garden, garage, fences were not ready. They hired some guys to finish the things. Like the other similar jobs in Moscow this was also fulfilled by Turkic people.

From now on I'm gonna share most of my personal images right here- on this blog. I've found out that keeping the pictures in the computer - whether they're are nice or not- does not provide any extra benefit. So let's hit it.

Of course the series will not be chronological - at least for the moment, whenever I finish the recent images, gonna update here with new ones - day to day right after shooting & developing process.
